Vexis Evolution
When the Vexis project was initially created, it was meant to be a full rewrite of the instant messengers we had released in FY09 and the first quarter of FY10. This one was meant to be flawless, more stable and greater all around. Once again, times have changed. The Vexis project is now being developed into a much broader solution. It will be transformed from a mediocre Instant Messenger to a Secure Information Infrastructure. This Infrastructure will not only host Secure Communications as it did before, but will also host a number of new systems, including a Secure Intranet and Secure Collaboration Tools aimed from everything from email messages to software development and company management. This robust program has the potential to become the keystone in a company’s architecture.

We have decided that the recent system failure would be a good reason to galvanize a full rewrite of the former system. This rewrite will maintain the same goals and innovative ideas as the former system, but with a different developmental approach. Instead of solely streamlining development, we are going to aim to maintain a healthy balance between user experience, development, bug handling, data control and security. Theoretical methods to achieve these goals will not be further discussed openly at the present time.

We have fully completed the upgrade to the new login system. The new system features improved security, stability, speed, and control to the users and the administration. Also, no account identifiable information is stored locally, to decrease the risk of information leaks through programs such as spyware. Lastly, this will be the last piece of the puzzle before all efforts will go into building the API.

We have officially brought this site online and begun the transfer of the Shadoware Technologies products onto this network. This site will have a much more technologically sophisticated network than its predecessor. This network uses strategically located servers around the globe to reduce lag and provide a faster, more stable experience. Also, we will soon have a universal account system online that will allow the user to create a single account on our network that will work with the website and any applications we create. Our goal is to make the best network and applications to provide the best possible user experience.
